Description This may be caused by a conflict in Btrieve database versions on the PC. The problem may be resolved by using local copies of the database files in question.
Resolution Start Windows Explorer and navigate to the NEO install directory, which by default is at C:\Program Files\NEO Pro.
In this directory, you will find three files that we initally install with an 'x' at the end of the name. These files are:
W32mkdex.exe W32mkrcx.dll Wbtrv32x.dll
Make a copy of these three files within the NEO Pro directory and make sure they are renamed as follows (i.e., remove the 'x'):
W32mkde.exe W32mkrc.dll Wbtrv32.dll
Once the files are renamed, please do the following:
Close NEO (if open) and wait 30 seconds for the underlying database engine to close.
Start NEO.
If this does not fix the problem for you, please contact us. There are other steps that can be taken.
