NEO icons appear inconsistent or blotchy

Problem

Occasionally, some computers can show inconsistent or blotchy icons. It is most often reported on laptops.


Workaround

---

First, make sure your display is not in 256 color mode.

1. Go to "Control Panel - Display - Settings " and set "Colors" to 16 bit (or something higher than 256).

If the problem still exists ...

1. Close NEO.
   
2. Go to "Control Panel - Display - Settings - Advanced - Performance" and reduce or turn off "hardware acceleration".
   
3. Reopen NEO to see if this produces consistent icons.

If the problem still continues to exist ...

Download and install the latest video driver. Go to 'Control Panel - Display - Settings' to see which video driver you have - listed under 'Display".
